deciding what/ how much information you need

deciding which sources, search tool/strategies are most useful

deciding whether information is suitable, relevant and useful,

deciding what information is missing,

deciding how to organise and present that information.

After completing your assignment, do more than check the grade; ask yourself:

  • Did I fulfil my purpose/meet the criteria? 

  • How did I go with each step of the process? 

  • Where do I go from here?

  • Self reflection - being aware or self-conscious about your own learning is what leads to ongoing improvement and success.
