Portfolios are an excellent way to collate your 'evidence of learning'.

A portfolio of evidence will show yourself, your teacher, your parent/care-giver and even your employer, just how well you have done with the task, or even with a whole course or school career. Use them to show, as well as tell, a teacher or a potential employer how organised and task-oriented you are!

A portfolio is a purposeful collection of work and information that:

  • represents an individual's efforts, progress and achievements over time

  • is goal-driven, performance-based and indicates evidence of the attainment of knowledge, skills and attitudes

  • includes self-reflection

  • is a tool for facilitating life-long learning and career development

To construct an ePortfolio or electronic portfolio, you will need to digitise some of your materials....

  • "At-a-Glance Guides" These brief, one-page guides, are developed for using common software tools for creating electronic portfolios. These guides assumes prior knowledge of the particular software package.
